PRA Staff

The Pittsburgh Regional Alliance (PRA) staff and their colleagues from the Allegheny Conference on Community Development (of which the PRA is an affiliate) are pleased to introduce you to a brand-new communications vehicle:  the PRA Blog.

If you’re reading this, chances are high that your eye is on the Pittsburgh region for a reason – perhaps as an investment destination or because you’re a partner in regional economic development and promotion.  Either way, we’re glad you’re here and want to stay connected. We can help you get to know the Pittsburgh region’s economy and business climate even better as we share a regular and solid sampling of the robust business investment activity across 10 southwestern Pennsylvania counties.

There are many other ways to get connected to the PRA and be informed of the latest news in the Pittsburgh region. Follow us on Facebook to meet individual members of the PRA staff and add your business experiences to our wall.  On Twitter you’ll find the latest hits on regional economic development and quick fixes for the business news you need to know. Be sure to tweet us at @pghregion. And  if you’re looking for opportunities to network  and share  insights on the region’s growth and business prospects, or just want to know more about who we are, check in at our LinkedIn company page.

The Pittsburgh Regional Alliance is the economic development marketing affiliate of the Allegheny Conference – working alongside sister affiliates, the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce and the Pennsylvania Economy League of Greater Pittsburgh – to promote the 10-county Pittsburgh region as a business investment location of choice. We’re also the convener of a broad network of regional economic development partners working in tandem to attract businesses to and retain them in the region. Our market is companies worldwide that are looking to grow, expand or relocate, in addition to companies already established here who are ready to do the same.  We’re here to help companies discover what the “Power of Pittsburgh” can do for them specifically, and we’re passionate about every one of those opportunities.

Connect with us so we can connect you to the Pittsburgh region!
