CBRE CEO Says Tech Economy is Driving Real Estate Investment in Pittsburgh

by on May 19, 2014

?????????????????????????????Pittsburgh,  a “Top Metro for Millennials” per Niche.com, is proving to be a “sweet spot” for real estate investment. Young, talented, job-seeking, millennials are seizing opportunities in places like Pittsburgh, where a robust (and growing) tech sector is giving the region a competitive advantage. CBRE’s Chief Executive Officer Bob Sulentic recently gave a shout-out to Pittsburgh when he discussed the commercial real estate market outlook on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” a popular morning news and talk program.

“Where you see particularly good leasing is where the young tech workers want to go: Midtown South (New York), Silicon Valley, San Francisco … Pittsburgh – anywhere there’s a good critical mass of tech, things are going quite well,” said Sulentic.

That’s some great company for Pittsburgh to be keeping!
