Transatlantic Air Service from Pittsburgh: We’ve Got Options for You!
For business and leisure travelers, nonstop transatlantic air service from Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) to Europe is already a reality on Delta/Air France, but additional options are coming in early summer 2017.
In November 2016, both WOW Air and Condor Airlines announced plans to fly nonstop from PIT to Reykjavik, Iceland and Frankfurt, Germany, respectively. The Frankfurt flight, like the Delta/Air France flight will be seasonal, with a winter hiatus. WOW Air’s flight will be year-round. From Reykjavik, travelers will be able to connect – at the reasonable costs that are a hallmark of this airline – to nearly two dozen western European destinations including Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Milan and Paris.
Pittsburgh-Paris (and Beyond) Daily Nonstop Service on Delta Airlines – Seasonal
Following an annual seasonal hiatus, daily nonstop flights between Pittsburgh International Airport and Charles de Gaulle in Paris will resume on May 25, 2017. This flight makes travel to France, Europe’s major markets, as well as destinations in the Middle East and India convenient for both business and leisure travelers.
From CDG, Air France – Delta’s partner – has connecting flights to 100+ destinations in Europe, India and the Middle East. High-speed rail from CDG can also get you to your final destination.
