Chicago-based real estate firm, M&J Wilkow, is expanding its investments in the Pittsburgh region. The company is adding to its robust portfolio – which includes the now 98-percent-leased Waterfront retail complex in Homestead and several others across the region – with recent acquisitions of two, Class A, downtown Pittsburgh office buildings: the 23-story 11 Stanwix and the 22-story 20 Stanwix. M&J Wilkow’s senior vice president of acquisitions and asset management, Marty Sweeney, stopped by Our Region’s Business to share his ambitious plans for both buildings – strategically located across from each other – as well as his impressions on Pittsburgh’s economy, its real estate market and the role they’re actively playing to support the growth of Pittsburgh’s urban core.
